We’re the very first crew agency only dealing with crew that have a secondary skill set and exceptional talent.  With over 20 years experience in the yachting industry, we know the frustrations for both Captains and HOD’s when recruiting for a particular crew member with a specific skill set. We have also witnessed the struggles for crew members trying to find a job and a yacht that aligns with them where they can continue to grow and develop their skill set. We aim to streamline the process and the frustrations for both parties.

Inspired Crew is for crew members that hold a secondary skill or exceptional talent that will bring something unique and beneficial to the yacht. For example, this agency isn’t for a deckhand who holds only a tender license or speaks another language, it would be for a deckhand that holds a tender license or speaks another language and something else such as a dive qualification, paramedic qualification or is an expert in the media field.

We will email you and inform you that for now we wouldn’t put you forward for any positions. We would suggest other agencies that we highly recommended that you could sign up to,  and let you know what areas you could work on that would help you in the future.

We follow the MLC guidelines, and will check yacht documents to make sure they are MLC compliant before placing any crew members. Where a yacht does not need to comply with MLC, we would advise that you are happy with your employment contract. We strongly advise every crew member to read our candidate terms and conditions when registering, and only join a yacht with a contract, and only if they are happy with everything.

Inspired Crew does not charge crew during any of the process.

For yachts that are recruiting we have different pricing structures. These will be sent in our client terms and conditions before we send over any candidates to make sure you are happy. Please contact us if you are wanting this information in advance.

Inspired Crew is based out of the UK.  Hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday with flexibility either side.  Hours may change slightly during the Carribean season.
